How do I convert to a Dream Rewards Checking account?
To open a Dream Rewards Checking account, use this form or visit any of our branch locations.
Are there any requirements for opening an account?
To open an account, you must be 18+ and an existing Cyprus Credit Union member. For new members, you can apply for a membership and a Dream Rewards Checking account at the same time using our online application.
Do ATM withdrawals count toward points and also card usage?
No, ATM withdrawals will not count toward points or transactions.
Where do I see how many transactions I am at for the month?
You will receive three monthly email updates about your current account tier and transactions. These will be sent to you the middle of the month, a few days before the end of the month, and at the end of the month.
What if I don’t make the minimum transactions?
If you don’t make the minimum amount of card transactions for the Dream Big tier, the $5 account fee will not be waived. $5 will be charged the fifth of each month.
How do I earn points?
Use your Cyprus debit or credit card to make your everyday purchases—the more you use your card, the bigger the reward. Also, earn points by making on-time payments of Auto, RV, or HELOC loans and earning dividends on a certificate (traditional or dream).
How do I view/redeem points?
You can view and redeem points by visiting the Dream Rewards Store at dreamrewards.cypruscu.com. Here, you can browse available rewards and redeem points for cash back, gift cards, travel, and more.
To create an account and register your card, follow these 3 steps:
1. Make sure Cyprus has your current phone number and email address. Need to make an update? Give us a call or log into Home or Mobile Banking and select Update Contact Info (located under the Preferences tab).
2. Visit the rewards site. Once on dreamrewards.cypruscu.com, click "Sign up now" to create your credentials.
3. Fill out the requested information. Enter the required information (account holder name, ZIP code, last six digits of your new Visa Rewards card) and select continue.
Points will expire 4 years from the moment they are earned if they remain unused. However, you will not lose points before their expiration date as long as your account is in good standing. You will only lose points if you close your entire checking relationship with Cyprus.
Can I combine points with other household members?
You can use the “Gift Points” feature inside the Dream Rewards store under the “Account” tab to immediately transfer points between other Rewards account members or between your own multiple rewards accounts.
Do I need to set up a separate login for my debit card and credit card in the Dream Rewards store?
Points will show based on the account number. If the Dream Rewards Checking and Rewards Visa accounts are under the same account number, they will use the same login.
